Along with Mike’s tattoo, I also got to do this feather on my friend, Ryan. He works at the Steven Allen shop right across the street from Unis out in SoHo. Thanks, Ryan!

Yesterday, I got to tattoo my friend, Mike aka Guido, that is also from Virginia Beach and lives here in Brooklyn. He got this in dedication of an old skate shop that existed years ago and was reopened by two of my friends Dave N. and Dave H. I was never around this shop, but my friends back at home would always rave about it. I’m glad Mike came to me with the idea. Thanks, Mike!

Mr. Birthday Ian
Crybaby Elizabeth
One extraordinary cake.
Cake Brovas.
This past weekend was quite eventful. For one, it was my birthday as well as my nephew, Ian’s. My brother in law, Mike, his birthday was last Monday, and it was going to be the last time I get to see my close friend, Mike N., for the next 3 years. My time in Virginia was so spread out between friends and...

I’ve had a thing for Keri Russell for some time now. Probably ever since Felicity. Yeah, that definitely came out. Stop judging…

While I was still in Virginia, I ran into my friends Alex and Sam. I tattooed this on Alex a long time ago. It was probably just months ago, but it already feels like forever. Anyway, I was lucky enough to get a healed picture of the suicide king I did for him. It came out great. Thanks again, Alex!

My close friend, Mike, was visiting Virginia while I was down there this past weekend. I’m so happy I got to see him before he got stationed out to Japan. He told me he’s going to be out there for 3 years, so we definitely had to do something before he left. He always wanted to get a traditional ship, so that’s what we went with. I’m really excited with how it came out....

Today was quite eventful. I got to do this on my friend Christoph today. I was so stoked to hear that he wanted to do a traditional pin-up. This was the first pin-up I’ve had to do and I’m really looking forward to the next. Thanks, Christoph!

To become a tattoo artist, people take a lot of shit, spend a lot of their time and money, and hustle so hard to even get an apprenticeship. But all of this follows a tradition. Now there are “schools” that show people how to “tattoo” in 2 weeks? 1. This is ridiculous. No one can possibly be a real tattoo artist in 2 weeks. There are just too many factors working against...
